Effective Sunday, September 19, the 4:30 PM Mass at St. Juan Diego will become a Teen Mass. This means that we will work toward involving and inviting Teens as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Altar Servers. The music and liturgy will also be aimed primarily towards our youth.
Our parish is growing and we are blessed to have many more families with children and Teens and it is necessary for us to refocus our outreach. Evangelizing our Teens is a vital need to the spiritual growth and the health of our community. The parish mass times have not been revamped since 2007 at St. Mary’s and 2017 at St. Juan Diego. We believe moving the Teen Mass from 5 PM at St. Mary’s to the 4:30 PM Mass at St. Juan Diego is for the good of our growing community, primarily our Youth. Keep in mind that there will no longer be a 5 PM mass at St. Mary’s beginning September 19.
