Capital Campaign-Building Fund Collection 

It’s the 3rd Sunday of the month and that means we have a collection for the Capital Campaign. Please drop your envelopes in the specially marked basket on your way into Mass. Thank you to those who are making payments on your pledges. This month the Diocese has sent us $87,000 as a disbursement from the Together Campaign payments. We will place these funds in our savings account for future renovations of the courtyard and Hurtado Hall at St. Mary’s and the future building of a Church Hall at St. Juan Diego. 

The Solemnity/Feast Day of Our Lady of Peñafrancia

This special celebration of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is planned for Saturday, September 19th. Rosary and Devotions will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by Mass at 6:30 pm at St. Juan Diego. You may attend this Mass in person or watch via a live stream. Viva la Virgen!  Viva El Divino Rostro! 

Small Pearls of Prayer and Formation  

This Tuesday, Sept. 22, Fr. Elario will talk about CONFESSION. The link will be sent via Flocknote and posted to Facebook at 3:00 pm. 

Diabetes Empowerment Program

Our Health & Wellness Ministry and Dignity Health are offering an on-line program about taking control of diabetes. The meetings will be held on Wednesdays, beginning Oct 21–Nov 25 from 9:00-11:00 am. Please call the Parish office at 480.963.3207 to register for this program and the link will be emailed to you. 

Matched Giving Program was a Success!

The Gift Shop will be open at St. Juan Diego on Sept. 26 and 27 after each Mass. 

October Blood Drive at St. Juan Diego  

Fr. Sigman Knights Council 16277 is sponsoring a Blood Drive at St, Juan Diego on Sunday, October 11 from 7:30 am-1:00 pm. Visit Bloodhero.com to make an appointment and use sponsor code: StJuan. Appointments are not required but will help reduce wait time and allow for physical distancing.
